Heat & Screen Printing

Don’t have your own art work or design idea? No problem!

To The Point Embroidery offers a variety of stock designs and pre-made heat transfers to meet all of your needs. Please visit our online IDEA Book. Transfers can be also be custom produced from photos, images or your own ideas. Using heat transfers is an inexpensive way to personalize and embellish just about anything. Many embellished items you find in retail outlets use heat transfers such as mouse pads, coffee mugs, bags, awards, etc.

Types of heat transfers:

There are many varieties of heat transfers. Puff transfers extend higher than the surface it is applied to giving a raised effect. Metallic transfers incorporate metallic particles that catch the light. Some transfers glow in the dark after being exposed to light.

Player Names and Numbers:
Using heat transfers for player names and numbers on sport jerseys has become a popular alternative to silk screening. Materials available for player names and numbers are: film, twill and flock. Player names and numbers made of twill and flock require stitching on the outer edges to prevent fraying. Film lettering and numbers require heat application only.

Custom Designed Heat Transfers:
You can design the artwork from a gallery of layouts, clip art, and font choices. You are able to print photographs, signatures, and your own designs not included in the gallery. Great for fundraisers, boosters, tournament giveaways, and company logos on aprons, polo shirts, jackets, and more. We have made shirts in this method for many years and have found them to be of high quality and durability.

Screen Printing is perfect for School Spirit Wear and Family Reunions

The cost of screen printing is determined by the number of items, the number of locations printed and the number of colors used. Setup fees are determined by the number of colors and locations. The higher the quantity ordered, the lower the price per piece. Screen printing setup is very expensive and can inflate the cost per piece on small size orders. Therefore, it is not price effective to screen print orders under 24 pieces. There are other imprinting processes better suited for small orders.  If you are needing a small number of items, contact us and we will discuss your needs and determine the best solution to your needs.
